Rhipsalis – Cereuscula

Rhipsalis Cereuscula

Rhipsalis Cereuscula is a charming and unusual epiphytic cactus, commonly known as the Coral Cactus or Rice Cactus. It is admired for its slender green stems and masses of short, clustered branches that give the plant a beautiful coral-like appearance.

As the plant matures, the stems become gracefully arching and trailing, creating a lush, cascading display. Small white to creamy-white, bell-shaped flowers appear towards the ends of the branches, adding a delicate touch to this fascinating plant. These can be followed by attractive small white berries.

Rhipsalis Cereuscula is perfect for hanging baskets or raised containers where its branching growth can spill naturally over the sides. It enjoys bright, filtered light or partial shade and a well-drained growing medium. As an epiphytic cactus, it appreciates regular moisture while still requiring good drainage.

A wonderful choice for collectors and plant lovers, Rhipsalis Cereuscula is an easy-growing, distinctive Rhipsalis that brings beautiful texture and a lush tropical feel to any collection.
